Working through a back catalog at the moment, this is from a visit to the Zoo back in April. I find these creatures fascinating and incredibly expressive. Seeing the juveniles play while the mother seemed somewhat lost struck me as a very human like behavior. © John Dunne 2007 ~
It’s been a long long time since I was last at Dublin Zoo, 10 years or more. When I was last there it was in such a poor state of repair with the animals looking miserable I promised I would never return. However I was told it had changed substantially
Well just back after a very relaxing 6 day break in Cork. We stayed in the Golf Lodges in the Capella Hotel in Castlemartyr about 30 minutes outside of cork city. During our stay we managed a visit to Foto Island Wildlife Reserve, Barryscourt Castle, Youghal and of course Cork
