It was almost exactly 2 years since I last visited Skerries. I remember the last time I was there I was so blown away with the location that I made a promise to return, didn't think it would take me 2 years though.

The 6am start was most definitely worth it on this occasion. Although I actually made it by the skin of my teeth as the clocks went forward by 1 hour on Sunday and my alarm woke me at 6am rather then 5am. By the time I made it to Skerries
