Taken at 8am just as the sun was rising on a very frosty morning on Skeagh in Bailieborough, Co Cavan. It was such a peaceful start to the day and everything was covered in the lightest of frosts when I arrived to the lake.
My wife surprised me with a weekend in Kerry for my Birthday last September, more then that it was to be a photography weekend. I know, she’s cool! I have shared a number of images from this particualr location a while ago but I came acorss this image while reviewing
I had really hoped to shoot this sunrise on Jan 1st but unfortunately the weather here in Ireland was just too bad. Never the less I faced the freezing conditions on Sunday 3rd and hit the road at 6am geared up with winter clothes, flask of coffee and a hip
