It was almost exactly 2 years since I last visited Skerries. I remember the last time I was there I was so blown away with the location that I made a promise to return, didn't think it would take me 2 years though.
My wife surprised me with a weekend in Kerry for my Birthday last September, more then that it was to be a photography weekend. I know, she’s cool! I have shared a number of images from this particualr location a while ago but I came acorss this image while reviewing

The 2nd image from my recent trip to the Ring of Kerry. This is a stitch of 3 handheld images taken during some fleeting sunshine on Valentia Island looking back on to Portmagee. The rugged cliffs of the west of Ireland are in complete contrast to what we find here
