As promised after last weeks post of a Donegal Seascape taken near Portsalon I am sharing another image from my recent trip to the rugged landscape that is Donegal. For the first time my GPS application on my iPhone let me down. Well that’s a complete lie as it took me to the exact spot I asked for. Unfortunately the spot I asked for was not the spot I wanted. I had planned to visit Glenveagh National Park on this day but the spot I selected on the GPS map was actually a viewing point down into the Glenveagh valley. Not to miss an opportunity though we continued to drive around the location and came across this wonderful spot. A small stream was running down through the mountainside and meandering is way down to feed the Dunlewy Lough. I just love the ruggedness of this landscape, surrounded by mountains, full of boulders and streams and lots of little lakes dotted around.
