Another image that has been sitting in my Aperture library for a while. This time from a sunrise shoot in Torrevieja, Spain in 2009. I have only released one image from that shoot to date, and that was Sunrise on the Promenade. What did I say back then? “A 5am start to any day is never easy, even harder when you’re on holidays. But when the day starts like this, that early rise and one hour drive is all worthwhile.”
This image was taken from hip height on a Tripod looking slightly downwards which helps to add drama to the scene. A 2 second exposure helps to smooth out the sea a little but still provides a sense of motion. The 2 second exposure was achieved using a 3 stop ND filter.
